The Mirrored Road into the Interior

Yesterday, while reading the wangst from the LJ "strikers" I had to keep repeating "I don't hate people" as a sort of civilizing mantra. (This wasn't a declaration of non-hate for individuals, more that I don't hate humanity as a whole.) This morning, posted about something that has made me reconsider my position on the whole humanity issue.
